INTERNET
SAFETY PRESENTATION
Every time a child goes online, he or she is at risk of being
contacted by a predator. Statistics indicate that one in every seven children has been sexually solicited on the Internet.
That's why an essential part of Attorney General Biden's fight to protect children from predators is giving kids and their
parents the real-world tools they need to keep children safe online. With the help of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children,
Attorney General Biden created an interactive Internet Safety Presentation that teaches kids about the dangers they face online, how to avoid becoming a victim, and where to turn for help if they are solicited. Since April, 2007, the Attorney General has brought this presentation to over 16,500 middle school students in 33 schools and organizations up and down the State.
If you would like the Department of Justice to share this powerful message with your
child's school or community organization, please contact the Director of External Affairs at (302) 577-8889.
