57 COUNT INDICTMENT RETURNED CHARGING JAN LEWANDOWSKI WITH RACKETEERING, THEFT AND SECURITIES FRAUD

ANYONE WHO MAY HAVE BEEN A VICTIM IS URGED TO COME FORWARD

(Wilmington, DE):  Attorney General Jane Brady today announced that a Superior Court Grand Jury has returned a 57 count indictment charging Jan Lewandowski (also known as Jan Lewan) of Hazleton, Pennsylvania with racketeering, theft, securities fraud, sale of unregistered securities, and sale of securities by an unregistered agent.  The indictment alleges that Mr. Lewandowski, who travels with the Jan Lewan Orchestra and has performed locally in Delaware, sold at least 300 unregistered securities of J.R.D. Productions, Inc. and Jan Lewan Show Gifts, Inc. in over 21 states throughout the country for more than $2,000,000.00.

Victims were induced to purchase these securities by promises of a 12% or 20% return rate.  The State alleges that Mr. Lewandowski made fraudulent oral and written guarantees about the profitability of J.R.D. Productions and Jan Lewan Show Gifts.  Some losses were significant.  Two Delaware families are alleged victims of Mr. Lewandowski for the aggregate amount of $87,000.00.

Anyone who has purchased securities from Jan Lewandowski (a.k.a. Jan Lewan) is asked to contact Securities Investigator Stanley Yackoski at (302) 577-8935.
