PAUL WALLACE APPOINTED NEW CASTLE COUNTY CHIEF PROSECUTOR



(Wilmington, DE): Attorney General Carl C. Danberg is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul R. Wallace of Wilmington as Chief Prosecutor for New Castle County. Paul is a distinguished and respected member of the Delaware Bar and is held in high regard in both the Office of the Attorney General and Office of the Public Defender. Pauls promotion to Chief County Prosecutor has been earned with many years of hard work and dedicated service. 



Mr. Wallace received his B.A. degree in Criminology from the University of Maryland and his J.D. degree from the Columbus School of Law of the Catholic University of America. Mr. Wallace has been an attorney in the Criminal Division of the Attorney Generals Office for nearly 17 years. During his tenure, he has engaged in criminal litigation on behalf of the State at every trial and appellate level and has acted as legislative liaison for the Attorney General in matters relating to criminal law and procedure and public safety issues. Mr. Wallace has written or co-authored several briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court in capital cases and regularly writes articles concerning criminal law and prosecutorial ethics for national and local publication.



Mr. Wallace resides in New Castle County with his wife Lisa and two children.
